Mark Zuckerberg renews his criticism of Apple Vision Pro glasses


The CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, has once again criticized Apple's Vision Pro mixed reality headset, emphasizing that his company's Meta Quest 3 headset continues to be better than Apple's rival.

After technical analyst Benedict Evans posted on the Threads platform, stating that the Vision Pro glasses are "the device that Meta wants to reach within 3 to 5 years," Zuckerberg responded on the platform that the price at which Meta Quest glasses are sold is "the price that Apple is looking for." Evans expressed surprise that the developers at Meta Virtual Reality thought the Quest glasses and the Apple Vision Pro glasses were identical.

Strongly disagreeing with Evans's views, Zuckerberg stated that his company will suffer greatly if Quest becomes a product akin to Vision Pro in the next three to five years. After testing the Apple Vision Pro glasses, the CEO of Meta had earlier said that, considering their seven-fold cheaper cost than Apple Glasses, his company's "Quest 3" glasses offer a superior value for the majority of consumers.
